Operations Practice Est. 2026

Operations infrastructure for the firms holding America together.

An operations practice for owner-operated trades businesses.

We install the operating system inside your business and stay on as your operations steward while it matures.

01 / Who we work with
Owner-operated trades

Owner-operators in the trades.

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, roofing, landscaping, and adjacent trades. Businesses that grew on the owner's instinct and now need operating infrastructure to grow past it.

01

"I'm running ops out of my head."

The owner is the system. Nothing documented. Every problem routes back to them. A vacation longer than four days breaks the business.

02

"I have data but no signal."

Service Titan, Jobber, HubSpot, QuickBooks all report numbers. Nobody acts on them. No weekly cadence. No scorecard. No clear answer to "are we ahead or behind this month."

03

"I keep hiring ops people who don't stick."

Office managers, ops leads, GMs. They leave because there's no system underneath them, just the owner's gut. The next hire walks into the same chaos.

02 / What we do
Two phases of one engagement

We install the operating system, then steward it.

The Build installs the system over three months. Stewardship runs on a monthly retainer afterward. Same operator across both. The Build hands off; Stewardship maintains.

Phase 01

Operations Build

3 months · one-time engagement

We sit in your operation one day a week for twelve weeks. We document what's there, build what isn't, and close with a written handoff to the internal hire who runs it after we leave.

  • KPI scorecard wired to your data
  • Weekly business-review cadence installed
  • Operating SOPs documented for every recurring decision
  • Dashboards that read your actual ops, not generic templates
  • Trained internal owner (you or a function lead) by Day 90
Phase 02

Stewardship

Monthly · recurring retainer

After the Build, we stay on as your operations steward. Monthly review with the trained internal owner. Quarterly business review with you. The system stays current as the business grows.

  • Monthly operating review with your internal lead
  • Quarterly owner-level business review
  • System maintenance as new data sources land
  • Escalation channel when something breaks
  • Continuous instrumentation of new operating questions
03 / How we work
The engagement shape

One day a week inside your operation. Then it runs without us.

A working operator inside the business, building the system the business needs to run without the owner in the chair.

Step 01 · Intro

Short intro call

Fifteen minutes. We talk through your operation and tell you whether a Build is the right next step. If it isn't, we'll say so.

Step 02 · Build

12-week Build

Twelve weeks, one day a week in your operation. We install the scorecard, the cadence, the SOPs, and the dashboards. Day 90 closes with a written handoff to the trained internal owner.

Step 03 · Steward

Stewardship

Monthly review with the internal lead. Quarterly review with you. We maintain the system as the business grows.

04 / Trust
Posture, in full

The whole posture is documented. Read the page.

Encrypted at rest and in transit. Cloud-hosted on GCP from day one, no on-prem, no hybrid. SOC 2 Type 1 audit in progress. Founder-led, honest about what we hold and what we don't.

The trust page documents current controls, planned controls, and the audit roadmap as it advances.
